KAIROS (KY-ross)
Greek, "the right moment."

The Greeks kept two words for time. Chronos was the clock, time that is counted and passes whether anyone notices or not. Kairos was the other kind: the moment that opens and must be taken. Writers used it for the opening an archer waits for, and for the instant a weaver passes the thread through the warp. It did not measure time. It named the moment that mattered.

The fragrance is built to arrive at that moment. Grapefruit and cardamom open bright, with cinnamon warming behind them, quick and clear. Lavender holds the heart, clean and calm, steadying the spice. Amber, licorice and vetiver follow with patchouli beneath, deep and smooth, and they carry long after the room has changed. It projects widely and holds for a full day, so the impression made at the door is still there at the end of the night.
